ITGeek Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I never realized one of the Black Eyed Peas was Fil-Am. Not sure what impact the music will have on Americans. For me, whenever I hear Reggea music, I think of the Caribbean islands, not Philippines. The ad appears to be made more for attracting younger tourists than 'seasoned' tourists like myself. Other than that, great music video!

Forum Support scott h Posted February 12, 2016 Forum Support Posted February 12, 2016 Great but missed out on the real world. Very true, having grown up in a tourist area, It is a widely held belief that direct advertisement only entices a small number of tourists compared to repeat visitors or word of mouth (Hey Jolly, Lake Taal is a great place, you should really visit there). We have been to Guam a couple of times, they spend very little on advertising but you cant swing a dead cat with out hitting a Japanese or Russian tourist. I think we all know the answer, IMHO the Philippines really needs to improve infrastructure and before the tourism industry really takes off.
