Great story :7_4_17[1]: and maybe someday some of us can do something too. That would be my dream, bringing expats together to help poor Filipinos. I really would not like to start a charity but I would love to find a way we could all contribute to feeding the poor of Mindanao because it seems most charities are for Luzon, and maybe teaching them skills and English to help them get jobs and live better lives.

An inspiration but the one thing that never seems to get covered enough is moving a charity forward to be sustainable. You always hear of things needing money but what about charities that actually teach people trades etc. that then in turn pump a % of income back into the charity for the next people. That something I would be very keen to do in the future. Im hoping I can get a bit more time this year to develop an idea I have been working on.

Great idea Chi and if we were there then I would try to help out, if my old body would let me. Keep up the good work Chi. :541:Day of caring Edited by Mr. Lee
