robert k Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 The best western musical comedy I ever saw was Evil Roy Slade. For me it beat Blazing Saddles.
Jack Peterson Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 The Very First Film I ever saw with my Dad at the Cinema was "Reach for the Sky" with Kenneth Moore (The Douglas Bader Story) watching it again would be great and as with "Pearl Harbour" Would a prime Candidate for a Remake. [For me anyway]

earthdome Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I agree with many of those already listed but am a bit surprised no one has listed the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
AlwaysRt Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 How many of you navy types out there saw the all time classic 'R' rated version of Flesh Gordon while out at sea? No but your question did spark a memory. Louis Gossett Jr. did "research" for An Officer and a Gentleman at MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) San Diego a few months before I got to boot camp in 1982. Summer of 1983 we were catching a ride on the USS Peoria, 1st movie night in the chow hall featured An Officer and a Gentleman.
Dave Hounddriver Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 a bit surprised no one has listed the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Tolkien was a great author and I loved the books but the movies . . . up to you.
