Waiting for the Move

Well it’s been years of planing and preparation for retirement and moving to the Philippines.  Everything has slowly been falling into place in my schedule.  We are to the point of just less than three weeks before we take our flight,(one way).  All the heavy work is done of packing and shipping.  My wife has most the luggage packed and what is left is the small things for the hand carries.  My daughter will finish school early and her last day will be the day we leave.  The teachers and principal have worked hard to help her complete the 4th grade 7 weeks early.  She will have one month rest before starting the 5th grade in PI.  There are several going away party planned for us and other than that it seems to be down to a waiting game.  We are ready and now before we go, we can rest and have a little fun.

I'm excited to see some old friends and family there and will also be excited to get settled.  But for now, just wait a little longer.
