Popular Post Sander Martin Posted August 18, 2016 Author Popular Post Posted August 18, 2016 Doing a follow up. We arrived to Estonia abit less than 1 month ago. It was a good thing i sent the redribboned documents (both their birth certs and cert of none marriege) to my mom 1 month before our departure. It took Phillipines Foreign Ministery TWO FREAKING MONTHS to send signature sample of the guy that red ribboned our documents. Without that, Estonian foreign ministery couldnt certify them. Finally came today and Estonian foreign ministery said they will have the documents ready tomorrow (in one day). Hopefully we will get the documents tomorrow, so we can register our son and get him a European passport (and free healthcare, so we can go for check ups etc). On monday we will go and put in an application to get married (have to wait one month). Once we are married, we can start our resident visa process for her. Hopefully it will be easy as we have a child together.... Ill post about the progress incase anyone is interested in the future.

Sander Martin Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 It was abit of an adventure, but we got her papers sorted! Estonian authoritys didnt accept her certified Filipino certificate of not married. We had to ask the local court for special permission to get married without the certificate. 150euros and two weeks. Got married 3 days before her visa expired and our honeymoon trip was to the immigratsion office. Got her visa extended quite easy. And filed for resident permit. Her Schengen resident permit for 1 year was approved in a week or so (shes going to have to extend it every year for a few years, but should be easy). Great feeling when all works out in the end ?. Planing a trip to Poland now to have her Filipino passport changed.
