I used to buy a Muesli called Monster in SM that was quite good. They had 3 or 4 different types. Tropical fruit, normal, etc. Very expensive. I think it was over 600 pesos per bag.

Was it called 'monster' because of the price????

Perhaps. I think it was imported from Australia.

Ahhh, well that explains it.  It starts off expensive and by the time the Phils Government add taxes is it sky high.

Anybody who wants an alternative cereal and lives in Dumaguete should check out Lee plaza hypermart as I have found cereal bars which are the same as Sugarpuffs and Rice crispies.

I know this is an old thread, Kev, but I just noticed Tesco is selling milk for British expats to put on their Sugarpuffs and Rice Crispies.  Not sure if they have it in Dumaguete yet but it cums in a package like this

That milk is for the export market primarily to Canada. We were told that it is mostly bus drivers that drink it, on the long lonely journeys.

I have yet to find Chex cereals in Duma. You'd think Rice Chex would go over big here lol.
