Paying Tribute to our Fallen Warriors

A week from tomorrow is Memorial Day (May 30).  Although we should always be grateful each and every day.  My thoughts and prayers today should also apply to men and women of any uniform, all nations.  Be it law enforcement or fire and rescue, all of them ran towards the fire or an active shooting spree.  And in doing so, many were killed in the line of duty.

We should also never forget about their families with the painful sorrow in their hearts.  Many times so severe, that they fall to their knees and never come back up. 

And finally, I would like to pay tribute to a fellow veteran in arms who just survived (retired) 30+ years of outstanding and dedicated service as the underwater Dirty Harry, while keeping the peace around Chesapeake Bay, Maryland.  Just recently he survived another major milestone by moving to a tropical San Magoo sunset, wondering how he got this far -- with a chit eaten grin....he, he.

The voyages throughout your life are indeed INTREPID.  Well done Danny!
