Well, good for you that nothing was serious.  I had almost the same thing happen to me but I was driving our car! I've only been driving a few weeks here in PI and can see how easily these things can happen.  I'm too scared to try two wheels here.  I hope you have a full and speedy recovery!

Sure glad to kow you're okay. Might be a good idea to see if a doctor might want to X-ray your hip and leg just to be sure. As we get older it is much easier to crack a bone or something.

Guess you'll be a bit sore for a few days but at least you're in one piece.

Will a big bruise like that avoid Aspirin based pain relievers. Brufen or plain Tylenol should be ok.

Thanks everyone for your very kind words. Went to the Hospital this morning as i wanted to be sure that my shoulder and thigh were only bruised which proved to be the case. So no breaks apparently. New dressings and a Tetanus shot just in case. Had not had one for a long time On the mend I am sure.

Young people(and some older) just don`t care when driving and they  cause other people to have accidents a p!ss off. Hope it aint too serious Ron get well soon.
