Forum Support scott h Posted June 14, 2016 Forum Support Posted June 14, 2016 What you do is have your 23 year old nephew who is 6 foot 1, 190 pounds, wavy blond hair and blue eyes visit for a couple of weeks. Take him to a mall and while he is window shopping and being assisted by all the young sales ladies. You stand behind him, get the girls attention, point to your wedding ring finger, point at him, shake your head and mutter,,,"wala, wala". Then just stand back and watch the giggles and nudges start amongst the girls. For maximum enjoyment you can tell the single girls because they start blushing. I would then point at my face point at them and say "pula??? (close at I can come to your blushing. They usually flee at this point. Oh, for self preservation, insure that your spouse is shopping in a different area of the store. Explanations are just so tedious at times.
Jake Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Well Scott, the question remains......did your nephew win the hearts and minds of the young ladies. Did he get de-virginized.....he, he.
intrepid Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Wow! What a chance in a lifetime. I just could not grasp in my mind what it would be like to visit here at that age. So many thoughts run through my mind just thinking about that. One of two things I would do. Either run away and have the time of my life,...for a while until I got caught, or make plans and dream every day of the time when I could return with a more mature feelings. And I don't mean age 50+ either

Thank god for Viagra!
Forum Support Old55 Posted June 15, 2016 Forum Support Posted June 15, 2016 Reminds me in 2005 my son and I took a side trip to Moalboal to get his open water. We spent three days and nights there. I could not leave him alone for long without shooing away Filipinas. At that time he was 15 years old six foot blonde with green eyes. He was the shy one.
bows00 Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 This is a fun thread. But I have a twist to this experience - I have a friend/co-worker, who is around 59. He took his 26 year old son out to Puerto Galera for vacation. Funning thing is that the old man was the one that came back married to a 22 year old Filipina. Only in the Philippines... BTW, what does "wala wala" and "pula" mean?

Well Jake, there were heartfelt sighs, wistful looks and a trail of broken hearts all over the Metro area. One thing is for sure, they wont have to mop the floors at our local SM Mall for a while, seeing that his tounge was continually dragging on the ground. 15 hours ago, intrepid said: So many thoughts run through my mind just thinking about that. Me to Intrepid, I thought I would have to hire a security guard to trail him around town, I know at his age I would have gone hog wild. But you know what? I edged into the topic with him and kids his age haven't heard the stories we grew up with. He was in diapers when the bases closed.
mogo51 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Just wish I had gone to the Philippines in my 20's, my mind boggles.
Forum Support scott h Posted June 16, 2016 Author Forum Support Posted June 16, 2016 As the saying goes Mogo, "Youth is wasted on the young". Even though I never made it to the Philippines like Jake I made to a lot of other "exotic" spots as a young man. And probably like Jake (now I am just guessing here Jake) I rarely got more than 3 blocks away from the gates of the port or base. That I remember anyway .
mogo51 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Yes Scott, we should start old and work back to youth - now that is a thought!
