skyskyper Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Something is strange though. It used to be that during this time of year in Riyadh one could feel the searing heat even during the wee hours of the morning. But it's cool in the early mornings here nowadays and most people notice it.

How quickly the temp can climb though! Edited June 16, 2016 by Queenie O.

And according to NOAA that honor is reserved for sometime in our ancient past: Quote Our planet probably experienced its hottest temperatures in its earliest days, when it was still colliding with other rocky debris (planetesimals) careening around the solar system. The heat of these collisions would have kept Earth molten, with top-of-the-atmosphere temperatures upward of 3,600° Fahrenheit. https://www.climate.gov/news-features/climate-qa/whats-hottest-earths-ever-been

Now Friday and looks like it's getting a good start again for a hot and very humid day. Guess it's still better than snow. I've had enough of that stuff to last a lifetime.
