Popular Post RBM Posted July 4, 2016 Popular Post Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) We are coming to the end of a weeks stay here so thought a report as we see it appropriate. First will mention Ralph an ex member here whom designed and built the two rooms. Sadly he passed over 22 November last year at 62 years old. His lovely partner Suzy now managers this establishment along with her helper and Gardner. The two cottages are located on a hill offering fantastic views all the way to Jagnar Bohol, white Island can be seen clearly. Ralph has designed the rooms with relaxation, ventilation and views in mind. Well done. The location is around 15 minutes from airport and 20 minutes to Mambajao. Our cottage is 100% self contained, even a hot shower. Some evenings my partner prefers to cook, as we enjoy a meal with wine on the lovely over sized elevated terrace. Other nights it's just 10 minutes to one of the many good restaurants close by. Many also deliver. Worth mentioning is the stairs one must manoeuvre to the cottage, this may not suit anyone whom is restricted with movement, also one does need to rent a scooter while staying here. Suzy has one available which we availed of. No TV and one should not in my view come to Camiguin to watch same, the nature here is amazing, we wake every am to birds and of interest is the kingfisher always present, hence the name of our cottage kingfisher. For nature lovers this really is a paradise. There is, sadly a few distant karaoke bars one can hear, I do not find it an issue although some may. Its just now part of life in the Philippines. A further comment would be dogs here are an issue for scooter renters, they seem bigger than than others I have seen (maybe lush forests) how ever according to locals responsible for the majority of accidents. They seem to dart across the street from no where, we had two close ones... Cost. Cebu Pacific return for 2 P3k 7 days cottage rental P7500 Scooter for 7 days Suzy is a very caring lovely lady, she will do all in her power to ensure your stay is the best. Contact (Suzy does reply) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Now shall try post a pic from our terrace.
