Benington Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Is there anyone else who mainly relies on the abs-cbn news website to keep up with the news here? Its presentation has just changed, and, in my opinion, for the worse. Now there's no convenient "Nation" page where story titles were listed. You have to scroll down a page with big pictures until you find what you want to read about. It is always of interest to me to find out what they think here is important in the rest of the world. Coverage used to be patchy but most main issues were listed. But today, if you look at the "International" page the top story, again with a big picture, is about a British lawyer in Singapore raising money for the health treatment of her Filipina ya-ya's son. So what they have done is merged what was called before "The Global Pinoy" section with the "International" section. Some main issues are there but you have to search for them. It looks like GMA's online news site has gone the same way.

My problem with online news reading is that if there is a news video I may want to see, I often get a message that due to my location the video can't be played.
