i am bob Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Since I joined this forum, I have noticed a lot of changes... Mostly in the answers that people are giving to the same questions... How much do we need to live in the Philippines and why... Unfortunately, with a membership as diverse as this forum enjoys, that is not an answer that is easily answered... And the answers that do come back often set up a debate amongst those who live differently... So... I'm going to ask that same question but a little differently... If anyone has suggestions on how to ask better than I am attempting to, please feel free... Hopefully, this will help those looking at coming to the Philippines with their decision and how much they can expect to pay in the areas they select... Please state in the following order what you spend monthly on the following items: How many are living in your household on a regular basis Rent: (where - city or province, subdivision, upscale or average area, apartment/condo/house, anything else that you can add to identify the value) Utilities: (water, power, internet, cable, etc) Food: (wet market, grocery store and name, specialty stores, what you generally purchase, etc) Transportation: (Own or public transport, kind, costs, how often used, etc) Entertainment: (Only regular events such as theater once or twice a month, karaoke at home or out, sporting events, visiting friends, regular bar hours, etc) Miscellaneous: (Anything else you would like to add) The strange one is back... hehe!
