One thing is for sure is that this cat is a looser, low life scum bag who figured that he could behave in a fashion that is either illegal, immoral or too expensive to live in while in his home country. IMHO (or not so humble) if it can be proven he broke the law in some fashion, he should be prosecuted, jailed and then deported to his home country.

Just saying

Probably on the money.

An addict or a pusher, maybe sitting on some bad deals, bad credit. He hasn't turned himself in for no reason at all. And for anyone who is not at retirement age you wonder what's the scource of income.

We have one near here, met him once. Half Brit, half Filipino supposed to be doing a furniture business in Makati.  Showed up here 3 months ago driving a Hilux and rented a place on the beach. Payed double the normal rent and bought all new furniture, TV, appliances.  Stayed 2 months then did a flyer one night. Left all the furniture and appliances. Another party tried his phone and it was ringing....one txt was received saying "I'm in police detention, cannot talk right now". After that nothing, no word at all.

He's a young guy living quite a high life. Did surfing and had his gf from Manila along for the ride.

It's got to be drugs, but we might not find out. If he's out of the country the phone would not continue ringing?

Not that there ever is, BU,T this is not a good time to be a drug addict in the Philippines. This morning I was sitting out side the 7-11 drinking my morning coffee and reading my newspaper. when a very thin and  not very clean Filipino came along, very very agitated, talking loudly to himself, cursing and swearing. kicked the garbage cans and continued on his way. I was thinking, must be getting harder for the addicts to score with open season on their dealers. It will most suredly get crazier before it gets better.

Street price is way up, which is a good indication that something is working. Last article I saw was a hit is now 500 pesos up from 1-200.

Although he may be an addict it could be also a mental problem and not much help there from my understanding.
