Reboot Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Internet girlfriend lives on the beach in NW part of Mindanao. So lots of beach pictures! But no women in bathing suits! All the ladies bathing in the Pacific in t-shirts and shorts! Edited August 11, 2016 by Reboot

You have to realize what is going on there of course, and it may affect/offend some idiot thinking People. not good for the ladies but having said that Even around Dumaguete area there are not all that many swimsuits about. My daughter (17) tells us I don't want men ogling me. "T" shirts & shorts is a common thing to see. Reboot Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 I wasn't sure it was modesty or the obsession with being as white as possible. It's quite a different situation than around here.

frosty (chris) Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 You will be shocked to see a girl in a bikini here, I have noticed some girls will wear the bikini top and shorts but most (not all) will still wear shorts and T shirt when they go swimming, even at the pool.

In my experience, many (most?) pools I have been at insist on bathing suits. I've seen lots of girls in bikinis and I'm sure I have some photos somewhere At the ocean there are not many with bathing suits. There seems to be a belief that only poor people swim in the ocean. I may be misunderstanding that but with all the stinging creatures, the garbage, dirty Pampers, and shit (literally - from dogs and other animals up to and including humans), I understand why people would want to cover up. Its why "Y" wants to leave Philippines and go to Bali for a beach holiday.

Popular Post AlwaysRt Posted August 11, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2016 I occasionally see Filipinas wearing bikini top with shorts, usually still under a t-shirt. Both in the sea and at pools. It is a modesty thing, not a stay white as possible thing as far as I know. Only seen foreigners wearing bikinis (wish most of them didn't).
