chris49 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I decided to use a Budget Airline to fly to Australia. Manila-Gold Coast on Tiger. Gold-Coast-Cairns on Jetstar. I'm stopping in the Gold Coast for 3-4 days to visit my sister. I'm bringing the bike on Tiger with about a $60 surcharge. But I don't need the bike in Gold Coast. So I was thinking of sending it unaccompanied directly to Cairns. But my ticket is only to the GC, with another ticket to Cairns, separate ticket. Any advice on that? Does anyone have experience with unaccompanied baggage?
Jollygoodfellow Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Why dont you send it road freight from your sisters place to Cairns?

It would be nice if you can get rid of it when you arrive at the airport in GC and then have it waiting in Cairns. I'm sure you don't want to be lugging it around.
