So here is what I did. I dusted off my ole Operations NCO hat, gathered all available information and did a proper MDMP (Military Decision Making Process). After weighing the pro's and con's, I came up with three probable COA's (courses of action) and presented them to my higher authority.

1. Follow the advice of members and get my ECC at the airport

2. Make a dry run to the airport (we live 20 minutes away) locate the kiosks and ensure that the service is still available.

3. Make the trip to BI in Intramuros and get the ECC the old fashioned way.2

The Commanders' decision?  it has been decided that we will pursue COA 3 and go to BI .

 

Hey Sergeant Major, 

It is safe to assume that US Army field tactics is logical and don't beat around the bush.  Whereas the Navy way is like packing 20lbs of chit into a 10lbs bag.  

If you're coming back to SoCal (Clairemont Mesa), we need to hook up and play some racquetball, OK?
