Tomorrow is close but never comes as no matter how long I sleep, when I open my eyes it is always today. Famous quote, " never put off today what you can put off tomorrow" ( author unknown but musta been Filipino and inherited from the Spanish "manana".)

There are many such people in the states who cannot manage a budget. They max out their credit cards and file bankruptcy. Actually, there are those who file bankruptcy every 7 years whenever their credit clears up. I remember one worker who asked for a loan from our credit union but was denied. Reason it was denied because he was dumb enough to say he wanted the money to file bankruptcy. This is his story, whether it's true or not it was funny.

The man or woman who frequents the local pawn shop. Ever notice how many pawn shops in the Philippines. The US has them also but not on every block. Look at England, its just the same,

Sander Martin Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Plenty of one day millioneirs in the PH. They spend their paycheck right awey on crap they dont need (and cant afford) and end up going to the pawn shop the next day. When we took the bus from Cebu to Danao Port (for Camotes islands, an hours bus ride), i counted the pawn shops. There were over 50, but im sure i missed a few. Sometimes you had 2-3 pawn shops in a row... Plenty of one day millioneirs in other countries aswell. When i lived in Western Australia, i remember watching a TV show about the boom of homeless people after Iron mining died down (2years ago). Alot of those guys were former miners who were earning 100k++ per year. They earned big and partied big in the city on their weeks off from the outback mines (drugs, booz, casinos and hookers)...The one day millioneirs thought that the Iron mining boom was going to last forever and in the end were poorer then they started out. Thats what happens when you give dumb people alot of money. Im sure we have all read about those guys that have wont 1mil+++++ on the lottery and have been bancrupt the next year... Alot of smart guys working in WA mining sector invested the money they earned and live a nice life now. One of my mates has been working in the mines for 10years now and hes paying off he's third house in Perth. He is 35 now. He said once hes done with that, hes off to Asia to retire (probably next year) and live off the rent (after taxes probably 900-1000aud per week+value of the property will continue to grow). Theres smart and stupid people everywhere in the world -.
Sander Martin Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 When "SMS loans" came out in Estonia 10 years ago, there were alot of idiots. SMS loan is an easy small loan with killer intrest rate. Retards took a few to party and ended up taking more and more to pay the old ones back. Snowball effect... What started as a 500-1000euro loan, was 10k in a year or so... Goverment had to step in and make it alot harder to get the loans because of the retards...
Reboot Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) Lots of folks win millions in the lottery here in the States and end up in a trailer park 5 years later. Edited August 30, 2016 by Reboot

Its still a big business in the U.S., especially in Florida. But since DWS (Debbie W. Schultz)stepped down, maybe the borrowers will get the regulation and protection that they need...maybe(seems to be a bigger word than if)
