JJReyes Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Has anyone had experience, or know someone who experienced FSBO (For Sale by Owner) in the Philippines? I will be visiting next year to attend a 50th anniversary class reunion and possibly place a property for sale. Rather then appointing a Seller's agent to represent me, I can save 50% on the commission fee by paying only the Buyer's agent. The savings will be used to pay lawyer's fees to close the transaction. Likewise, are there real estate publications where I can advertise the sale?
insite Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I am not aware of a FSBO here but it would be an asset were someone aware of it. I advertise to sell on two sites - Olx and Lumudi - I mostly get direct contact from purchasers thus avoiding any commission.
JJReyes Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Thanks for the information about Olx and Lumudi. I will try online publications and possibly a real estate print publication -- if there is one -- once I get to the Philippines.
