OnMyWay Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 In addition to two supply type ships, the USNS Fall River is docked in Subic Bay. It caught my eye right away due to the unusual shape, so I snapped a pic and looked it up when I got home. It is part of the ongoing exercises. After I snapped a few pics with my phone and I was walking back to my car a short distance away, I heard yelling coming from the direction of the ship. It was muffled, but sounded like my name! I waved at some guys sitting under a canopy behind the ship and a few moments later realized that one was a friend! He has a van service and must have a contract with the ship(s), as his van was parked out on the dock. He just told me on Facebook that it is a catamaran and is capable of 50 knots!
