Foreigner found dead and believed poisened in Davao.

My neighbors told me that a foreigner was found dead by his filipina ( wife or g/f).

They suspect that he was poisoned because of the vomit and bleeding from his mouth when he was found. She wanted the body cremated but they said that only a family member can request it. So, maybe she wasn't married to him. They had recently withdrawn a lot of money. This also led to the suspicion of murder but so far no investigation has been conducted that anyone knows of. He was an older man and she was much younger.

I've tried to find out more but no luck.

I told my wife that if she wants to kill me, not to poison me. She just laughs. ( not funny )

Body cremated gets rid of evidence fast.

Not the first time that kind of thing has happened.  A real concern for expats here.  The cops and the embassy are not well known for solving that kind of crime.  EG:

I would say it cost Leon, not her.
