Popular Post Bruce Posted November 23, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 23, 2016 I was doing my usual morning routine, feeding the homeless boys and old women, at everyone's favorite restaurant (only fast food in Catbalogan) the Jollibee! When to my surprise, in walked the Jolliee Bee his self! Wow! Grown people fawning and falling (really) at his (her?) feet! Truly a Philippine IKON. Mobbed for the entire visit. Maybe 50+ selfies and many more posed photos. I tried to stay out of the way so the kids can get closer, but once he (she?) saw the Kano, there was no escaping the picture opportunity....
Queenie O. Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Jollibee is a doll! I have a tattoo of his iconic face on my left knee. People, especially children are always happy to see my Jollibee- He's not always around for a photo op, so I'd say you were lucky Bruce. Maybe there was a kid's birthday party planned for that day.

Great stuff feeding some of the kids around. I love doing that outside of the Angeles area when I go in for a bite. Can't knock that Jollibee in the costume. I have to admit - I enjoy the stir he causes and even take a few photos as well.
robert k Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I was visiting friends and their precious 4 year old daughter was holding her stomach. Her mom asked what is in her stomach and the girl replied Babies! The mom asked who put the babies there and the girl replied Jollybee! Considering the distinctive look, I don't think a paternity test will be necessary.

JJReyes Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 McDonalds advertises 100% beef for their burgers. High fat content, but it has to be 100% beef. Jollibee uses "extenders" mixed with their beef so that their costs are lower. The barbecue like sauce is more suitable for Pilipino taste. Results is higher sales and greater profits.

expatuk2014 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 I love Jollibee have been well trained since arriving here, i normally have a yum burger, fries, sarsi And I order a champ takeaway which is ready by the time we have eaten great for quick microwave meal later. I hate drumsticks ! But where we live is a place called Ellens where we buy chicken breasts or fish The chicken breasts are nearly always 99% meat and the fish is very good we often eat there , so for the 2 of us 2 meals and a bottle of soda it costs 135 pesos.

Popular Post Clermont Posted July 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2017 While sitting in one of the Jolly Bees on one of my trips over, I noticed a family sitting next to us eating a meal of Jolly Bee. The father had ordered two pieces of chicken an extra rice. My wife kept going crook on me for staring at them, it was obvious they were from a province, but I could not help admire the behaviour of the little boy. Not once did he whinge about the little food he received nor did he complain about having to share his sars. My first reaction was to order more food for them, my ears are still healing from the ear bashing my wife gave me, the father would have lost face, she was rite. In a cabinet opposit us was a mascot of the Jolly Bee in the form of a little cusion. I bought it for him and after asking permission from his father to give it to him, I invited them to join us. My wife translated and we spent a good hour together, my pretend birthday celebration was the excuse to save face for the father. The little boy was hesitant to eat at first but when the ice cream arrived, there was no stopping him. It was one of the most memorable meals I've had while over there and I learnt a valuable lesson, the PI might be broke, but they are a proud race. I think the whole meal and cusion cost a little over 1500 peso, and as the little boy departed, he gave me a hug. Bloody smog is what I blamed my eyes for watering up and my wife was concerned that id got something in my eye. Yeah Jolly Bee to a little kid and us oldies can be an experience. 8
