ezencia Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Hi everyone hope that someone has had experience on this and could help. I am a foreigner working in Philippines and hold a ACR-I card on a 9g visa. i have recently changed my status from married to divorced/single. Does anyone know what are the implications if I choose not to amend my civil status on the card? Thank you.

I doubt any one here is on a 9g and if they are, no doubt you will get some different and up to date answers But a 9g is a work permit Visa and it's Status is as it was on granting it, For me I would not Piss on the BI boots. Far better to go to them and tell them about the Status change. Being caught out working when there is a problem with your visa can only reflect badly on you & may I add, Your Employer too. Just my thoughts on this but.........................
PaulB Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Ezencia See below images from the ACR Guide I was given by BOI. It states you need to update them of any change in civil status. Seems official so best be safe rather than sorry! Hope it helps. Paul
