Forum Support Old55 Posted December 31, 2016 Forum Support Posted December 31, 2016 So it's morning on New Year Day. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Alas, some of our Expats forum members will wake with the dreaded Hangover! Anyone care to share their favorite Filipino style hangover cure? The only one I know of is to drink lots of water sleep in as late as possible then eat greasy food. Or don't drink too much.
Gratefuled Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Prevention is always better than the cure. So, do your homework. Drink responsiblly Know your limit

Dave Hounddriver Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Good question. I don't have the answer but I feel you are on the right track. Filipinos around here were drinking quite festively last night. Surely one of them has a cure. Fortunately, I did not have a drink last night so no need for a hangover cure.

I, too, did not have a drink last night and took the dog for a long walk this morning.
Forum Support Old55 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Forum Support Posted January 1, 2017 It's only 6PM here we have a house full of people no alcohol. 2 hours ago, Gratefuled said: No, since I never had to deal with it. SORRY Nothing to be sorry about. IMO you are wise to avoid alcohol we all know too many friends and family who destroyed their life due to that.

So "hair of the dog|" seems to be the hangover cure that the local filipinos use, perhaps?
