Popular Post Kuya John Posted January 19, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) Thanks Balisidar, Good advice for those requiring US services. It saddens me that in this world today there is a culture of blaming others for just about everything that has gone wrong. I would suggest that the demonstrators / protesters creating this anti American attitude, take a walk around the American cemetery in Manila. There was a BBC documentary about "The Red House" (BBC iPlayer- news channel, "Our World"- The horrors of the Red House) last week, regarding the Japanese occupation during WW11 How easily people forget who the real baddies were. I'm not a advocate for war, I was not born during the second world war, thank God and I don't lay the blame at the feet of others my age or younger. President Duterte is playing a very dangerous game.......Sorry if this statement is seen as a Political outburst. How soon people forget. Some do not think. Many demonstrations are started by professional instigators. Then, there are those who agitate the crowd into violence. I really do not believe that the majority of the Philippine people are anti-American. Then again, some people are easily aroused. Many young people just like the action and not really into anti anything. I do not like crowds like big celebrations, parades, festivals. Exceptions are music concerts,, ball games, weddings, birthday parties and family reunions.
Gerald Glatt Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 On an up note, here in the states we will have a leader at noon. And there will be a tomorrow, as in the RP when the power was transferred, and England left the EU. I did hear that Venezuela was planing an election......as in one bullet one vote
