Popular Post Snowy79 Posted February 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 3, 2017 I'm currently sitting at Glasgow International Airport ready to catch my flight to a new life. Touching down in Manila on the 4th at 10:30pm. I've got my return ticket to throw away but will be going to Malaysia to climb Mount Kinabalu later on in the month. As I'll be leaving and returning from Manila will I have to get another throw away ticket as if I'm leaving again even though I intend to stay on?

Popular Post Tukaram (Tim) Posted February 4, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 4, 2017 Anytime I buy a throw away ticket I buy it as far out as I can (almost a year, usually). You can use the same exit ticket again. Enjoy your new home!

That ticket was all you needed to show you are exiting the country. You did not need a return ticket as the rules say onward.

robert k Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 +1 on the get the throwaway ticket as far out as you can. If you aren't staying more than 30 days at a stretch it would be practically like a multiple entry visa.
