Hi, I spent some time yesterday at Cebu builders and some other smaller hardware stores, whilst there I made note of some building material prices, I'm sure people can find better deals but I thought that I would just post a few prices here for general interest. It all depends where you buy your materials, If I buy from cithardware they charge 200php for delivery, Cebu home builders gives free delivery if you spend more than 5,000php, we also use a local guy who has an open backed multicab we just negotiate a price for the job, we buy blocks sand and cement from our local hardware they deliver free, I'm hoping to buy a vehicle in the next few months but have to finish my present build first, its a bit like the chicken and the egg, by the time I finish the build and earn some money to buy the truck, I wont need the truck because I've finished the build Edited September 23, 2009 by johnb

I am about to try a new product at least for me ''Concretobond" from island paintshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H-FAa7F8CA 1 x 4ltr container = 671 php I do like the fact that it can be used as a metal prima, as well as a concrete additive to increase bonding and water proofing as a fluid it doesent seem to have a shelf life, so its something that would be handy to have in your garage or tool shed for those days when it all goes wrong.John
