Forum Support Popular Post Old55 Posted February 15, 2017 Forum Support Popular Post Posted February 15, 2017 We know it's not uncommon a Filipino guy to openly have more than one wife and family or a Foreigner to have two Girl friends aware of each other. Anyone care to comment, know of someone? We knew a German dive instructor on Leyte living with two Filipina's. That lasted two years didn't end well he was forced to flee the country. Popular Post JJReyes Posted February 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) Sounds more problematic than its worth. Think of the additional expenses if you are the pragmatic type. Of course, that is coming from someone who has been happily married to the same person for 45 years. Popular Post Nephi Posted February 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) Common sense and thinking with the right head dictates that it's just not worth it and not worth the strain. Edited February 15, 2017 by Nephi 7

Especially if you are a mariner -- many commercial vessels, including the love boat cruisers are manned mostly by Filipinos. Remember they are the inventors of the Filipino Bolitas. As far as having two Filipina wifes or GF, very very dangerous. Bladed weapons and you're in the middle? Popular Post bows00 Posted February 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2017 Two girls at the same time is overrated. Too much work. All you need is one good one. 8

OK. 2 Second hand experiences and 1 first hand experience which I can think of to share: First: Joe (real name actually) came to Phils the same time I did. He was determined to keep 2 girls living with him at all times because he liked the excitement of 2 girls and because if one left or if he booted one out then the other would keep him company and help him find a replacement for number 2. It actually worked and he has been doing for the last 9 years. (I haven't seen him for about a year now but at that time he was still with 2 beautiful young ladies.) This was a lot of work! He was constantly looking for replacement girls. Each new girl came into the relationship thinking she could push the #1 girl out the door and become the one and only. It never worked but there was always a new and competitive girl wanting to try. And beautiful girls! Joe is nothing to look at and has a limited budget, similar to mine, but he was like a bulldog knowing EXACTLY what he wanted and he always went out and got it. Second: Geoff (may he R.I.P) had a wonderful and understanding wife. She knew from day one that she had married a philanderer and accepted that this was the way things are. She saw herself as an ugly woman that Geoff had 'rescued' from a life of being someone's maid and she accepted whatever he wanted to do. Whatever he wanted, even to bringing girlfriends home and telling his wife she had to sleep on the floor tonight because he needed the bed to . . . (you know). How do I know these things? Both Geoff and his wife would openly talk about these things and have a laugh. The wife said she did not care as Geoff gave her everything she wanted and needed so she let him have the other women that he needed. First hand: My first long term relationship with a filipina was "open on one side". She told me from the beginning that she was perfectly fine with me going out and having all the other girlfriends I wanted on the conditions that I did not embarrass her, I did not sleep with her friends or relatives, I did not tell her about the other girls. She said that even if she asked about them I must lie and say she was the only one. That relationship lasted 5 and a half years before she decided she could do the same thing and ended up pregnant with someone else's kid. Being a chauvinist at heart, I left because she had broken our deal. Strange as it sounds to others, our deal was to be "open on one side only". I told her in the beginning i would accept all her conditions but I would not accept her seeing other men. Life is funny in Philippines. And then there are the Muslims who can legally have up to 4 live in wives and I have no idea who in the heck they manage that. You'd need a yaya to keep care of all the childishness going on in the harem room.
