Popular Post Dave Hounddriver Posted February 27, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2017 My new gf volunteered to make some breakfast for me. I asked for scrambled eggs on toast. "I don't know how" So I told her. Make some toast. Butter the toast. Scramble some eggs. Put the eggs on the toast. It was waaaaay to complicated for her. Reminded me of the first time I had to make rice in a rice cooker and I made it way more difficult than it needed to be. So I "showed" her how to take the bread, put it in the toaster, push down the lever, and wait for it to pop up. That part went well. But when breakfast was served I had to stop her quickly before she poured syrup all over the scrambled eggs which already were covered in ketchup and the toast was buttered all right . . . "PEANUT" butter Moral is: English is understood, but not as well as we might think so SHOW what needs to be done, don't EXPLAIN what needs to be done.

Tried that but she won't wait for the toaster to cook the toast, just puts the bread in waits about 30 seconds then pops the bread, I now just loiter in the kitchen when toast needs to be done

Could not eat it.
