Popular Post Queenie O. Posted March 23, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 23, 2017 We have this dining set from Mandaue Foam that is wood with a unique plastic resin coating. The original chair pads were boring gray and some kind of foam with a vinyl that had started to peel. Today for a fun project, I covered the pads with vintage crushed velvet in a chartreuse green. It was an old piece from a seventies bedspread that I'd had. Very Austin Powers I think!
intrepid Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Isn't fun to have some skills for diy so simple things can be done with little investment? Gives a small pride also and making things look nice and new. Great job Queenie.

Austin Powers would berate you for not using that lovely green crushed velvet as the collar on a white jacket!

Before I came here I filled BB boxes full with all kinds of funky stuff from the sixties and seventies acquired from Ebay and Etsy. This included a lot of fabric. I have some gold crushed velvet bedroom curtains that I made, with wooden rings and gold coin trim. Very groovy! Edited March 23, 2017 by Queenie O.
