Popular Post sonjack2847 Posted July 11, 2017 Popular Post Posted July 11, 2017 I have just been informed that all people using any fastcraft after 15th July will require ID.Something to remember if you want to travel between islands on one.I don`t know about children and I would have thought a lot of younger ones don`t have any.I also did not hear the reason for it.Maybe it is to combat terrorism.

Just a couple of possibilities that come to mind.

We have been using various fastcrafts, Oceanjets, Fastcats, 2 or 3 times a year for the past 3 years to go to Iloilo and always was asked for IDs. School IDs are OK for children. We were in a taxi and didn't have to get off the taxi as we crossed the water en route to Samal. The taxi proceeded to drive us to Pearl Farm Resort. We spent 3 days there. It was great. Actually, it was a package deal. It came with 2 nights, free breakfast, massage for each of us (wife & I ). Then, there is a small island that we went to by small motor boat. We were the only ones there. We could have run around naked and no one would have seen us. Actually., it was pretty nice vacation getaway for us since we never had a real honeymoon. I would recommend it for a nice time with your wife or significant other. No terrorist threats at the time. I wouldn't go there now.
