i am bob Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Funny, isn't it? Living in Toril (Davao) is still more dangerous than anywhere else... And the army isn't going to help you... Especially at any stop light or downtown... Dodging the millions of yellow tricycles..! Who needs bullets? I seriously gotta walk over and get a picture to put in here...
Kuya John Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 The possibilities are endless, I think its true to say that nowhere is guaranteed to be safe any more. However in a fictional setting, the community would set up a defence patrol and have a battle plan or a fast car. Don't panic remember you are British, and take the dog with you to the watering hole

Snowy79 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Big changes ahead I think. It was only a matter of time as Duterte isn't going to stop until Marawi is cleansed. Unfortunately like cockroaches the terrorists will run away before infecting another area. I think the Cebu areas will be relatively safe for a couple of years as the terrorists don't have a foot hold there. Palawan is a different story as there's been plenty of activity already in the South of the island and reports of training camps and kidnappings.
