An interesting thought and one I have dwelt on since a kid, left of this topic but obviously their home was secure, but always wondered, 2 people, then 4 then 3,,,,,,,,,,,, procreation? Incest a game the whole family can play............. sorry but a bad catholic boy that questions. Slap me soz.

There's an added tip in that.  Most home break-ins are done by underage kids under the supervision of an adult.  its because nothing happens to them if they get caught.  They are minors so they get sent home to mama and papa with a stern lecture.  But as i said, most filipinos don't look up so if you have valuables to hide, put them on top of the closet and chances are they won't be seen or stolen.  Just leave the least valuable stuff at eye level because thieves don't like to leave empty handed.

Maybe buy a bomb vest, stick plastic 'diamonds ' thereto, they will think they have made a big score and hopefully, blow themselves up.

There are pros and cons for both types of structure, but please note the fence would be double. It will be interesting to see if Trump eventually rows back from his expensive proposal and goes for a cheaper fence. If he doesn't ,and I doubt he will, it will be another example of one of his rallying cries to be denied by the statutory Trump supporter on TV panels, despite "fake news media" playing example after example of such statements from his campaign and the early days of his Presidency. He will no doubt dress it up by saying that his other measures have been so successful in cutting illegal immigration that there is now need for it. The base will swallow that.

 

Interesting thoughts that may/probably will ring true to the masses.

Does make one think and prosper from the insights Jack, a concrete jail or a simple life suited to your surrounds and Barangay. Getting run over by a jeepny or bus was a bad decision, being an ahole, inconsiderate or generally blind to your surrounds is asking for trouble, home security is governed by local norms, perception of security/safety is up to the individual and personal comfort zones. As said by me and others an 8 foot high fence gives a false sense of security, better no fence and observe. Fences are constructed to delineate boundaries, hold stock, generally 4 feet high, 4 ft or 10 ft all are traversable, go over or under, come they will if the grass is greener or there are better pickings. Best security is a well fostered relationship with neighbours, locals and the local Barangay.

Incredible happening alert!

As I was driving home today I saw the PNP arresting an underage kid.  He was in restraints and crying and being escorted into the paddy wagon (Are the ( some nationality ) here OK with referring to it as a paddy wagon?)   Anyway, we were not sure of his crime but Lynne said he looked to be about 14 years old and it was her opinion that the police would be taking him to the DSWD. < Yes its a link that you can click on if you want to know what is DSWD

Yep.  It even showed up in the quote where bigpearl asked what it meant.  Seems like he wants a further explanation of how you got 3?  I know I do
