Pound Sterling to Peso.

Anyone with pound Sterling to exchange now is as good a time as any.

When I started coming over here a few years ago it was hovering around 65 to the pound. I've been watching it since then and it dropped to 58 then hovered between 61 and 63.

I figured with Brexit the pound might plummet so decided to exchange my large amounts if it got above 63 again. I thought I'd struck lucky at 64.6. Today it's 69.7. Time to exchange more I think.

It's even up against the dollar. In preparation for my October visit I just transferred some $ to my PNB peso account. And might send more if the rate continues to climb.

Have a read up on the issues PNB are having with international transfers at the moment. I don't know if it's a Puerto Galera thing but there's lots of transactions lost in the system currently here.

Thanks, first I've heard about that issues. Mine went thru ok, but I know they've been revamping and updating their website. It's been downs lot in the last few weeks and has caused a few problems. That could be the reason some transfers are being lost.
