I think you might be right. The shooter dumped about 200 rounds thru the door and into the hallway.

In none of the shooter's hotel room pictures do I see spent brass. He is reported to have fired off hundreds of rounds. I've seen no casings.

It was very interesting until he said "My wife: . . .  Has four kidneys and four ankles. Dave, that threw me for a loop too, but read the rest of the story about his wife.  Very relevant to the other discussion thread where you asked about depression meds.  There are some facts out there about depression meds and the mass killers.  May not apply to Vegas.

I'm wondering why he dragged 23 guns up to that room. I can understand the ammo but how many guns can a single person fire at a time? If a couple, few jammed he would need backups but 23? Doesn't make sense, especially since he has been described as extremely precise and meticulous. Unless he planned on others joining and they didn't show.

That is something i could not understand when this news first broke.  How many people could have been saved with an immediate frontal attack on the room?  That question is only problematical but I suspect the number could have been very significant. Not to mention the 500 that were wounded, some may end up adding to the death toll, but let's hope not.
