This security guard probably shortened the time of the shooting and saved many lives by distracting the shooter. https://www.thedailybeast.com/unarmed-security-guard-jesus-campos-took-on-las-vegas-killer-stephen-paddock

The shooter dumped about 200 rounds thru the door and into the hallway.
Reboot Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 In none of the shooter's hotel room pictures do I see spent brass. He is reported to have fired off hundreds of rounds. I've seen no casings.

Has four kidneys and four ankles. (She ate the good twin.)" I did not understand that and it made his whole narrative sound like he is loony himself. If it was an attempt at humor that flopped then it was neither the time or place. Too bad. He may have had good points to make but I stopped reading at that point.

Very relevant to the other discussion thread where you asked about depression meds. There are some facts out there about depression meds and the mass killers. May not apply to Vegas. MikeB Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 I'm wondering why he dragged 23 guns up to that room. I can understand the ammo but how many guns can a single person fire at a time? If a couple, few jammed he would need backups but 23? Doesn't make sense, especially since he has been described as extremely precise and meticulous. Unless he planned on others joining and they didn't show.

Guy was shooting for 72 damned minutes. Casinos have small armies. Hard to believe. I suspect cops and security were on that floor in a fraction of that time and did not stop him while waiting for SWAT backup, in the meantime, shooter is hitting the crowd with impunity. That is something i could not understand when this news first broke. How many people could have been saved with an immediate frontal attack on the room? That question is only problematical but I suspect the number could have been very significant. Not to mention the 500 that were wounded, some may end up adding to the death toll, but let's hope not.
