Sad but true. The only reason my ex wife reduced her extortionate financial settlement from me was due to lawyers fees. She started with the intentions of seeing me living on the streets until she realised after I had spent everything on lawyers fees there would be nothing left for her to go after, and for every pound I spent it was costing her more as she'd got a top female lawyer who hated men. That's why over here I'd do as much research into divorce the minute a Filipino asked me to marry her before even looking at marriage law.
