virginprune Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Eddie Clarke guitarist with Motörhead has passed away while being treated for pneumonia, he was 67. He was with the band from 1976-1982 when they made their most enduring work. Not least by his lithe blues influenced playing that gave them their trademark sound. After leaving he formed the band Fastway and performed other solo work but did not realise the heights again that he enjoyed with Motörhead. He did rejoin the band sporadically for one off gigs.
