Direct non-stop scheduled flight Perth to Heathrow

There’s a direct flight from Perth to London now. A bit over 17 hours!

What’s the longest flight you guys have ever dealt with?

The longest non-stop flight I've done was Melbourne to Dubai which was 13 and a half hours, then a 4 hour break in the airport which I spent in a bar talking to a brit and sipping on over priced beer and then on to the UK which was about another 8 hours.

 

That 13 and a half hour leg in economy left me exhausted to be honest, and I was younger then.

 

I think I'd want at least premium economy for a trip of 17 hours these days.

That was a Qantas Boeing 787-9 DREAMLINER, which Dan (Old55) fabricated complex parts for that air frame and others in his Boeing plant near Seattle, Washington.

For a trip like that I'd want a hit of Rohypnol. I would not only black out for about 12 hours, I would not remember a thing.
