Most fox terriers you give a scolding too, they stand back out of your reach and keep yapping, are you like that or are you one of the terriers that settle down and join the fun other people enjoy. Quoting all of them at the same time. 1
Medic Mike Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 This is the question I have been asking myself lately as well. Although, I visit several times a year, I have never even thought about a budget on account working full time and making a very good wage. Now that retirement is less than 6 months a way. I am starting to think about budgets, and how much it will cost per month to live well in Cebu. I already own my condo in Topolo, so rent is not a problem, only monthly condo fees. To start with, I am going to budget for 40K peso per month, and see if I can stick to that, or in what areas I will have to commit more money to. My lovely pinay is great at making budget, so we will see what happens.

graham59 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) Per month, for me (no rent) it's ...approx'... Food and booze: 12,000 Electricity: 1,200 Water ...incl. drinking... 300 Internet (phone signal) : 600 Transport... trikes/jeepneys, etc: 1500. Miscellaneous expenses... related to school materials, fees, etc: 4500 Total (for me, the Mrs, our little boy, and our live-in niece) : p20,100. This is living in the province, about 3 miles out of town of course. I'm on a Balikbayan 'visa', so just a quick flight over to Hong Kong once a year with the Mrs, to keep me legal.
