Any chance you would share the name of your builder? Thanks, Joe I can introduce you when you are here.

Reboot Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 My wife's aunt is finishing up a place (her second house), and it's turning out pretty nice. (Her original house isn't bad either). I kind of think maybe I will use this as a model for when I build next year. With family connections I should get a good price on materials etc (I hope). This one cost her 2 million PHP, complete.

I don't think it's the main kitchen. The kitchen in her other house is as big as one I have in the USA. But yeah the kitchens are usually too small and don't have proper equipment. In the picture for the window bars it looks like they are bolted onto the outside wall. How difficult would it be for criminals to just unbolt those bars and remove them? Only 10 bolts and that first window.

Might depend on if someone is on the inside with a spanner holding the nut tight.

If the burglars are anything like most of the tradesmen I've met here they will probably ask to borrow a spanner. 4
