We are having clouds most days and the occasional heavy thunder showers in the past two weeks or so. Interesting the difference in our weather even though we are both near the water and on the same side of the same island. My wife, who grew up here, says the weather is much different than when she was growing up. She says the summers are longer and much less rain now. Yeah--isn't that something Mike! I agree with your wife about summers in the past and presently. When I first experienced weather in Cebu, the dry seasons were not that long and although it was sunny and hot there was usually a cloudburst and a short period of rain pretty much every day. May for as long as I can remember though, has always been the hottest, driest month here in the north.
Popular Post Queenie O. Posted May 21, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 21, 2018 It's about 89 right now with a humid feel like temp around 95+ out here in the yard. No rain in sight.. I like the way the bright sun casts shadows of palm leaves on the pathway where the hanging Lobster Claw Heliconia flowers grow. 8 1
JosephZ Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Here in Davao the months of April and May have been pretty wet. At my location I recorded 10.56" of rain in April and 8.72" so far this month.

Happyhorn52 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Here in Angeles we lost power again last night for about 45 minutes but got very little rain. Love how the Viagra sellers on Walking Street suddenly have umbrellas to sell at the slightest hint of rain.

Thanks LoboJohn! We built our house 4 years ago on land that already had some existing trees and some vegetation. After that I've just kept adding, as I m going for the "jungle" look. :) It's just my hobby .:) It is fun to wander around in.. Hey---just call me Queenie!

Hmm......I don't think I would like to wander around in your "jungle". Just like the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Queenie probably has many serpents. You don't have any mystical creatures like the Kapre lurking in your garden, do you? Well done Queenie!
OnMyWay Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 We finally had thunderstorms two nights in a row and last night was a good dump! Hopefully the drought is over here!
