One is a gamble the other a guarantee I suppose at low enough speeds within a gated community and without much oncoming traffic I would risk it if the walk would be too long. However, on the main roads I have witnessed 3 fatalities in the past 2 months on those horrible looking things! Something you really do not want to see!
