A policy update from Shipping Cart....

Formerly they allowed storage from 31 to 90 days, for a fee.  Now they only have 30 days free then they toss it.  Seems a bit drastic.  I don't intend on leaving things there but I guess others have.

Dear Valued Customer:

Starting August 15, items exceeding the 30-day free storage will be discarded. Please ensure that all items in your Cart are shipped out within the 30-day period.

i think that is Korean customs. I hear they x-ray everything that goes through their country, whether it's just passing through or bound for delivery inside Korea.

That could be. I wonder why your tracking doesn't show it, though. 

Worse, Amazon tracking shows Pampanga. That's what threw me. Hell, with the last couple of months I've had, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if a package got back on the plane...

Actually it did show as having arrived and left from customs in Korea. It just wasnt there when I posted the image. If its already in Korea, though, you should have it in a day or two.

Actually that is probably correct.  UPS flies into Clark, Pampanga and your package should be there soon.

The express carriers UPS, Fedex and DHL will perform CIA, Cleared In Air, for low value packages.  That is why customs clearance can show before the arrival.  Yes, confusing to many customers.  Some of the carriers may not show that event because of the confusion it causes.

Amazon, with the power they have, probably insist that the carriers send them all events and create their own filters as to what displays on their website.

Yes, many countries have a customs clearance event even for shipments transiting the country.  For the express carriers, it a simple scan of a container tag and that raises the event for the all the packages inside the container.
