Shellfish in the Philippines

We get live shrimp and crab from Cavite City, about a 20 min. drive. Taught my GF. how to de-vain the shrimp and she fries them up the same way she cooks breaded chicken. Delicious with some fries and cauliflower. Tried the oysters once years ago in Aussie land and didn't care for them. What's the use of swallowing something whole if you can't even chew it to get the taste? :89:

Have been eating shrimps on a regular basis without problems. Tried scallops once in Bacolod, thought was going to die next day, sick for a week, as much as love them reluctant to try again.

I used to eat the shellfish here. Crabs, shrimp, mussels. But recently they don't agree with me so I avoid them now. The wife still eats them but I tend to stick to a nice grilled Bangus.

Are we still talking about shellfish?  Or have we switched to "forum members" now. :hystery::hystery::hystery:

(Please don't take me seriously.  Seemed funny to me but not referring to you or any specific member.)

Dave, I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I'm not shellfish by any means, i'll put another prawn / shrimp on the barby / garilla and share them with

my mates /friends / neighbors / homeless people which brings me to a yoke / joke /yarn, ok,

In my younger days i wasted my time working in retail, boring was the word to describe the workplace

so we spent most days passing the time telling yokes and being practical jokers, i remember falling off

my chair from this yoke, it goes like this,,,,

"' What do you call an Asian run over by a truck ''

A crustasian,,,

So what's so funny about this yoke,  my friend was Vietnamese and he laughed his head off,

pretty soon just the thought of a joke will be banned, enjoy it while you can.
