Popular Post Dave Hounddriver Posted July 30, 2018 Popular Post Posted July 30, 2018 Want to have some fun and drive a girl crazy? Pick a filipina whom you know the legal (ID) name of and the cell phone number for. Go to Palawan Pawn Shop and send her a couple of hundred pesos but don't tell her. They will send her a text to say the money is waiting for her at any branch of Palawan Pawn Shop and all she needs to do is bring in her ID to claim it. BUT if she cannot say who sent it and how much it is then they will not give it to her. Drives her crazy In a day or so you can either tell her and let her claim the money or go back to Palawan and get your money back because it was never claimed. A great practical joke. 3 1

AlwaysRt Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I don't think mine would do anything but delete it. She gets notifications her money is available for pickup several times a week. Anywhere from p800 all the way up to p60,000+ once. No idea how the scam (it has to be) works to make the sender money.

They are texts not emails, Filipino sounding names, just says so-in-so sent you xxxx pesos, this is the control number, come to Palawan to pickup. Very strange but she gets them often. The real texts from Palawan do not tell you who sent the money. They tell you the control number and they tell you the money is available. Its up to you to guess who sent it and how much. At least that's how it works with Lynne. She often sells stuff online and people send payments and it drives her nuts when the sender does not text to say how much they are sending and who is sending it.

It must depend on where the sender lives... I've seen them with and without for Palawan... 😉😂
