Popular Post intrepid Posted August 1, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2018 For those who drive to the Manila Airport, NAIA, the new exits and roads have all now been opened for a few months. There are still a few small areas of construction to be finished. However, the major work is completed and a great improvement. Traveling to the airport from the south, Sta Rosa Laguna area would take as much as an hour and a half or longer with very heavy traffic. With the completed work we were at terminal #3 in less than 45 minutes. We left our home in Sta Rosa at 7:30 am. and the traffic was moderate. The return trip was even faster in just under 30 minutes. This was taking the SLEX to Skyway and reversed home. There is a p35 tole fee in and again out of the airport and the Skyway fee from the airport to Sta Rosa is p210 each way. For those living North of the airport I can only hope the travel is this easy for you. Now if only they could build a Bypass for Manila. 6

So one road for the rich, and another for the poor. Who says money cannot buy happiness sounds like 210 pesos buys it for a short time.
intrepid Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 I prefer to look at it as one for the working and retired and one for those aspiring to work and retire.

If we wanted to go to Alabang or use the SLEX to go to Laguna we would have to take surface streets to get there and it would take an hour...or more. Now we hope on the skyway and are there in twenty minutes. Sometimes if we go to MOA we jump on it, go to terminal 2, do a U turn get back on going the other way and it drops you right onto Mapapagal. About 70 peso but well worth it not dodging Jeeps, motorcycles and pedestrians j walking lolol 3 hours ago, Dave Hounddriver said: So one road for the rich, and another for the poor. The Skyway stage 3 when completed will be the Manila Bypass, as it will connect the Slex in the south with the Nlex in the north. The target date for completion is 2020 and from what i see on a regular basis they are making good progress. http://www.dpwh.gov.ph/dpwh/PPP/projs/MMSS-3
