Jack Peterson Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Over the Last couple of weeks I have had a problem with Windows updates twice this week I have (Well the PC) crashed. seems whenever the updates have completed my PC will not start up. Today I found that it was Google Chrome that had Crashed and was F........g it all up. I am NO techie but did, as I found out after a while it was best just to uninstall and then reinstall and so far it seems to have worked. Got all the updates and set a new Restore date an hopefully all will be well. Anyone else experience this?
OnMyWay Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I'm always suspicious of the Windows updates. It seems that my non-Microsoft software (Open Office, Chrome) start having issues after the updates. I updated Open Office and it is still crashing sometimes. It never used to crash.

Microsoft is possibly trying to crash Chrome, since they recently attempted to stop people from downloading Chrome and Firefox by displaying the following message:
