Ryan. Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 The time between 13A application and physical receipt of the ACR card was very stressful. I simpatico whenever these posts pop up. The process is engineered for uncertainty. As a side bonus, for me, it came with a den of thieves offering every imaginable excuse to charge extra fees. The last attempt when the card finally arrived- six hour wait to stamp the passport or magically P3K would allow them to stamp it on the spot. I can imagine it could be stressful but this topic has nothing to do with that as it's about a simple tourist who has been here 4 months.
sonjack2847 Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 When I have left as a tourist I have never been asked for my card.If you are that worried as Dave h says get somebody to pick it up for you and send it by courier. 1
Tukaram (Tim) Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 As a tourist with less than 6 months I was never asked for an ACR. Sometimes I had one, sometimes I did not. After the 6 month period I have had to show the ACR at BI to get my ECC, but no one at the airport ever asked for my ACR, just the ECC. Your mileage may vary.

steffa Posted October 19, 2018 Author Posted October 19, 2018 I just went to the BI HQ and asked at the information counter. The woman said the same thing as you guys: i dont need the card as long as my stay is less then 6 months. I hope the airport BI will agree. I will report back in a few weeks.
