Staying positive won't do a damn thing, and I think you know it in your heart. We ??????@d up the planet. Now your kids and mine will have to figure out how to live with the mess that we've made. Maybe plastic micro-particles will will become part of the new diet?

An added thought:  There will also be a brief reduction in the atmospheric pollution caused by jet travel. How many jets emitting exhaust in each 24 hour period is it these days ? Its a huge number.

But when a 16 year old can challenge the world leaders, you got a fight on you hands.

We stay positive, we give hope and encouragement to  the next generation by acknowledging our mistakes.

We don't need to save the planet, it will survive without us. However we need to save ourselves, we can not survive without our planet. Our planet will do much better after we are long gone.
