Popular Post Jack Peterson Posted May 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 4, 2019 (edited) This may be a little premature to say but I am excited so i am going to tell you! I know I join others in having a go and Moaning about PLDT ( Smart Bro) But Today i just can't Thursday Evening about 6.30 pm, Our Internet just went off for NO apparent reason ( Not that strange in itself) I left it till yesterday Morning to report as we were going out. Surprise number 1 ( one) was that My Service reference number has been marked Priority (this we are told is because we have a 100% good Account record and have experienced problems that have taken so long to fix) So only on my 2nd attempt to get through I was put on to the Service department straight away. Surprise number 2 ( two) was that the engineer rang at 7.30 am This morning to say he would like to come at 9 am. He Did, on his Motorbike straight from Home ( he had already asked if he could use our Ladder for getting onto the Roof if needed.) Ok so he tested and tweaked and said Oh Boy Big failure here Sir, 1 phone call and up came the PLDT Van ( it was just up the Road a way on another job) with the Parts he needed. At about 9.55 am he called out Sir I am done and you are back active. Surprise number 3 (three) was when we asked how much, Oh no Sir, it is in your Contract ( 4 + Years old) we supply. The work carried out was a New antenna ( old one Burned out) and a new Modem as the old one they don't use anymore. Moral: Continual reporting and Follow ups, Peacefully & Respectfully will eventually get them to realize that all we want is what we pay for (a Working Internet service.) So for today my hat goes off to them. Just hope it continues the way it is now. Edited May 4, 2019 by Jack Peterson spelling EH? 3 1

In three years, very little downtime, and the few times I had to call, they usually put me straight through to a techy. At least one of those times he fixed the problem (slowness) while I was on the line. Strangely, I know of at least one other customer in our general area who hates the service and has downtime all the time.

I guess the Fibr infrastructure they put in West, where that guy lives, is not up to snuff??
